GISELDA FERNANDES

3000 plastic bags and a solo dancer on point shoes recreate Michel Fokine's loving atmosphere of the Death of the Swan, created at the beginning of the 20th century for the famous ballerina Anna Pavlova. Using this villain polluter and mixing ballet with contemporary dance and visual arts, the scene gains political contours in relation to the original ballet, while maintaining a sensorial atmosphere .
