She continued her training in college at the University of Akron before transferring to Ball State University where she is studying now as a BFA Dance student. Her favorite style is modern/contemporary but has also trained in ballet, jazz, musical theatre, pointe, tap, hip hop and acrobatics. Eliza had the opportunity in Spring 2019 to perform at the Joyce Theatre in NYC at the Martha Graham Student Showcase, performing the original choreography of Steps in the Street. She also was able to work with Sidra Bell as a part of a full stage show called Masters and Visionaries. Eliza has expanded her training through intensives such as Visceral Dance 2018, and American Dance Festival in Cleveland 2019. She has received multiple scholarships such as the ADF Summer Intensive in 2020 and a full scholarship to Playhouse Square Broadway Intensive. Eliza has created her own voice by choreographing work for Spring Choreography Projects as well as a solo for Cleveland Dance Festival. She has gained knowledge in the world of dance film and has made her own work currently being shared in festivals. She hopes to continue growing as a dancer and strives to reach a level of professional work.
