About the Artist
Hamed Sabet
Hamed Sabet (b.1980), is an Iranian composer, painter and member of Iranian Association of film composers, with more than 30 films (features, documentaries, animations and shorts), in his repertoire. His extensive background in classical, jazz, experimental and contemporary music, as well as his command of Iranian traditional music and world folklore music, make him one of the most sought after film composers in the region despite his age. His work has been featured and praised at various international film festivals around the world. He is currently based in Tehran but travels extensively as he works on international co-productions and films made outside of Iran.
